often do I need to replace shoes?
A.
That will depend on how much walking you do in your walking shoes. According
to an article by Bonnie Stein of Prevention Magazine, walking 45 minutes to
an hour 3 times a week, replace them every 5 months. Walking the same distance
4 times a week, replacement time is about every 4 months and for walking 5
times a week every 3 months

I am located outside the United States and you only show prices in US Dollars.
How
do I find out what the cost of my order will be in my country?
A.
Actualy you can
select between and shop in two currencies at the moment - US Dollars &
Canadian Dollars. You can do this two differnt ways. The first is by clicking
on anywhere you see the Canadian & American Flags to make your choice.
Alternately you can click on the Price Set button near the top left of every
page (just under the Shopping Cart button) to do the same thing. You can also
find our Currency Converter on the checkout pages as you place your order, on
our footers at the bottom of each page and here.
As well when you check out and are filling in your credit card information you
have the additional option

Why do you ask for my email address?
A.
It is important that we are able to contact you if we have any questions about
your order before we fill it. It also allows us to forward a tracking number
or progress reports on your order should that be necessary.

Q. How do I
find the different areas of your store?

You can go quickly to different areas of the store by clicking on the Navigation
Buttons just below our logo at the top of each page, by clicking on the Footers
located at the bottom of each page, by typing some key words into our Search
feature near the top of each page or by using our Browse menu located
right beside the Search feature. You can click on the pictures of
our fine products on our Home Page to go directly to the lead page for that
family of products. You will find many words througout the store that are
in dark red and underlined. These are links that will take you directly
to that part of the store as well. You can go to your secure area Shopping
Cart at any time from any page by clicking on that icon just above our
featured and sale products. When you are in our Library click on each heading
to go to the various articles under that topic.

can I be sure that my shoes will fit properly?
A.
You are provided with
the best tools and knowledge in our store to help you determine what shoe size
and fit to order. Please don't hesitate to call us by phone (1-250-365-5532)
so that we can help you in every way possible in making your decision. Your
satisfacton and being able to order with confidence is paramount to us. We
want you to come back because you were happy with our products and our service!
The final proof
is always going to be how they feel when you first slip them on. That is only
done when these fine products arrive at your door. We suggest that if you are
not totally sure on your first order then order two pair - one for the size
you calculate and one pair that is one size larger. We will gladly pay the
return shipping charges on the second pair when you return them in new
condition to us in the original box with a copy of the sales slip. Please try
them on a carpeted floor so that the soles and uppers are not marked in any
way.
We have chosen
our shoes very carefully because of the methods and technology used by these
fine manufacturers to provide the most comfortable fit possible.

Q. How
do I know what size to order?
A.
We provide you with the Brannock
tool for men and woman that you can print out and with the help of a
friend, take a measure of your feet. This is more accurate than relying on the
size of shoe you might wear now. Just note that the 'Print Scaling' feature on
your printer must be turned off and that you will have two pages print out
that you just tape together so the numbers line up. Stand on the chart with a
pair of socks, stand with your heel flush with the inside back heel marking on
the chart (this is the part where it helps to have a friend line you up -
perhaps with a small piece of card held vertically against your heel to make
sure your heel is not back too far), make note of where your longest toe
reaches on the chart. That will give you a good indication of your shoe
length. Check your foot width as well - usually just back of your toes and
make note of that. Check that size with the Shoe Size Conversion Chart if you
are ordering ECCO shoes that are sized on the European standard to determine
what size you should order.

should I do?

We will be more than happy to spend time with you and help
ensure you are ordering the size that is right for you. Your comfort and
satisfaction with these fine products is very important to us. We are happy to
spend time with you to ensure that that is the case.
You can also order two
pair of the same shoe in the two closest sizes. Just return the pair that does
not fit. We pay the return shipping for the second pair. Please note that they
must be returned in new condition. We recommend that you try them on indoors
and walk only on a carpeted floor.

I clean my ECCO Shoes?
A.
We recommend the ECC0 Shoe Cleaning Foam. This has been especially
formulated to clean all materials on all types of ECCO shoes. You can find out

Q. Do I
need a different shoe size when I buy Thorlo Socks? Are Thorlo Sock Sizes the
same as my shoe size?
A.
The answer to your first question is "Maybe". Some Thorlo Socks are
heavier than regular socks and it is recommended that for those socks you wear
a shoe 1/2 size larger than normal. These tend to be the Level 3 category of
sock. If a larger shoe size is recommended you will find this clearly noted on
the product description page for that particular sock.
The answer to
your second question also is "Maybe". Because Thorlo goes to great lengths to
exactly tailor socks for different needs and applications, they can have
slightly different sizes. Please check the Size Chart for your sock by
clicking on the word Size under the Product Description on the Product
Page (these are the pages where you will find just one sock being described).
